Be The Match moved into its new sun-drenched office building, bringing more daytime foot traffic to downtown Minneapolis. The final wave of the nonprofit organization’s 995 employees moved to their new workspace in December 2015.
Be The Match CEO Dr. Jeffrey Chell said, “Building awareness about the need for volunteer donors is also critical to our mission. This location will allow us to be more visible within the Twin Cities community, and increase our opportunities to connect with the public, corporations and supporting organizations.”
Henricksen worked with Be The Match, a national bone marrow and umbilical-cord blood transplant advocacy organization, to furnish their new 285,000 square foot office space. Henricksen provided Be The Match with 1000 Allsteel workstations, 40 private offices, 3,789 lineal feet of modular walls, as well as ancillary furnishings throughout the space. This new construction project provided furnishings for 7 floor, each with 35,000 square feet featuring several large collaborative areas, cafes, training rooms, living rooms, conference rooms, great rooms and lobby/lounge spaces, in addition to workstations and private offices.
In addition to providing the furnishings for this project, Henricksen also provided on- and off-site project management support, as well as installation services through a local installation partner in Minneapolis.
