In 2020, Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC) began a comprehensive project for Adtalem’s Chamberlain University campus in Miramar, Florida. The aim was to expand and rebrand by identifying and filling gaps in the program offerings at other locations. The partnership started with goal-setting studies, leading to the renovation of existing office spaces and warehouses to support a nursing program. The project emphasized sustainability by reusing materials and introduced vibrant designs to enhance the learning environment, including classrooms, medical simulation labs, and student amenities. This new facility, designed to also accommodate administrative offices for Adtalem’s other educational entities, features over 56,000 square feet of teaching and study spaces.
